Saadavi: Ivic to Employ Different Strategies Against Each Team

TEHRAN The international soccer coach, Tomislav Ivic, will employ singular strategies against each opponent in the forthcoming World Cup in France," aggressive defender Naeem Saadavi told the Tehran Times. 'During the Broujerd training camp, Iran's national soccer team attained peak physical condition so that all the team's soccer players are in great shape," Saadavi said. The attacking defender added further saying that the team would practice tactics and strategies as envisaged by Mr. Ivic for the rest of the training sessions leading to the until the June 1998 World Cup in France. Another training camp scheduled to take place in Italy will enable the team to attin perfect mental and physical condition, so that they will be able to display their peak form and skills at the World Cup. Naeem Saadavi is an attacking and hard-working defender who plays on the right side of the team and is expected to be a sheet-anchor of the solid Iranian defense which, prior to the arrival of Ivic was considered suspect.
